3 Cases of Xanthogranuloma in Adults

Abstract

|
We herein report three cases of xanthogranuloma occurring in adults representing solitary nodule or multiple papules. Blood liplid substances such as cholesterol and triglyceride were normal and extracutaneous manifestations were not found in all
cases.
Histopathologic findings commonly revealed a granulomatous infiltrate containing foam cells, foreign body giant cells and Touton giant cells as well as histicytes and lymphocytes. (Kor J Dermatol 1993;31(4):633~637)
